Petting Zoo

Jayanne went on a field trip to a petting zoo and according to her the best part was the she got to go with Daddy. Brian was able to take the morning off and take Jayanne while I stayed home with Jackson and Matthew. Jayanne was very excited to have Brian there with her. She was even more excited when Brian bought her a John Deere tractor to play with. Which caused problems with the other kids because their parents wouldn't buy them anything. But having daddy there with her made Jayanne's day.

She is petting a little baby chick.

Cousin Sleepover

A couple weeks ago we all headed up to my sister Sheri's house for a cousin sleepover. Since its a hour and half drive we all stayed up there so it was like just a huge family get together. My parents even came up and Allen with girl Cami and Emily and Jaden put in an appearance. Anywho- Jayanne was very excited to go to Ben's house and sleep there too. We were all pleasantly surprised when the kids fell asleep around 10:30. The adults got a game of Killer Bunnies in while the kids fell asleep to Toy Story. It was a nice weekend for the most part. Brian wasn't able to come up so it was just me and the kids which isn't a big deal. But Jackson woke up at like 1:30 and didn't fall back to sleep until around 3:30. Then Jayanne woke up at 6 and started crying so then I had to calm her down before she woke up anyone else. Luckily she fell back to sleep and sleep for about another hour and a half. So needless to say I was extremely tired on the way back but I was glad that we went up. Jayanne loves to spend time with her cousins.
Ready for bed

Signature cheesy smile

All the cousins minus Jackson and Adilyn who got to sleep in cribs.

So Jackson just laid there on the kitchen floor just like this with Adilyn's bear for like 30 minutes. Just laid there. Just content as can be.

Easter

We had such a nice Easter this year. I don't know if it was because Jayanne is starting to understand the religious part of things since she is getting older or what but I loved being able to talk to her about what Christ did for us and what it meant and having her understand it better. Having said that, her favorite part was the Easter egg hunts. She got it a total of 6 this year, I know its a lot but 3 of them were family ones. We did one for her and Jackson, my family had one and Brian's family had one. Then we took her to the Roy City one and then we happened to show up at Walmart right before Sonic had theirs and so we had her do that one with her cousin Milly. We also took them to the one that Grandma Singleton's rest home put on, so I guess technically 4 were family ones. By the end she got to be a pro. Next year we are definitely cutting back. One because no one needs that much candy and two it completely diminishes the purpose behind celebrating Easter. Sorry but there are going to be a lot of pictures.

Easter Baskets full. We don't all do easter eggs. We each bring two items for each kid to hide so they end up with a variety of things.

Roy City's Easter Egg Hunt

Off she goes. She didn't do so hot with this one.

Jackson got in on the action as well.

GetAir

Jayanne was able to go to the GetAir sportsplex in Kaysville for one of her field trips and she had so much fun!! She absolutely loved it! She loved playing with her friends and just being able to jump to her hearts content.

Birthday Fun

So on the same day Jayanne had 2 birthday parties that she got to go too. She was very excited and had a blast at both. The first was to her friend Owen's birthday party which was at the treehouse museum. And the second on was her cousin Avery's birthday party in which she got to meet Rapunzel. She had so much fun at both of them and she keeps asking when they will have birthdays again so she can go to another party.
I love the look on their faces in this picture. At the treehouse museum.

Becoming a princess.

The birthday girl, Avery, got Rapunzel hair from her aunt so she got to be just like Rapunzel.

It was such a fun day!! Thanks and Happy Birthday you two!!

Cat In The Hat

We took Jayanne to the Discovery Museum to see Cat in the Hat. She had a lot of fun doing the activities but when it came to meeting the Cat in the Hat, she wasn't all that excited.
She got to make a hat just like The Cat in the Hat

She told me that she was sleeping in this picture.

After Brian took her to get her own chocolate covered marshmallows. She was very excited.
