MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I really enjoyed Christmas this year. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact the Jayanne was into it a lot more. She was way excited about it and it just rubbed off on me. Plus it was Jackson's first Chirstmas and that is always so fun. I also love the spirit that comes with the time of year. We tried really hard to keep reminding Jayanne the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it. And although she got the answers right, I'm not entirely sure she understood it completely or the significance of it. But we are workin on it.

Jayanne's Christmas Countdown chain.

Christmas Jammies

Jayanne was so good to help Jackson with his presents.

Jackson kinda got the hang of it.

Princess Jayanne

And her castle

A sign that Christmas was a success.

I think one of the greatest moments for us was when we woke up Jayanne (we had to so Jackson could be awake at the same time cuz we knew she wasn't gonna wait for him to wake up once he went down again.) We told her that Santa had come and she looked at us and said "I don't want to talk to him." Rolled over and went back to sleep. It was so funny. She finally got out of bed when we explained to her that he wasn't here and she didn't have to talk to him. That girl kills me sometimes.

Christmas Parties

We had a lot of fun at each of our family Christmas parties. Thanks to everyone who helped put them together.

Stephens Party-
At my family party we had everyone there so that was way nice. We had all the kids put on the Christmas story and boy was that entertaining. I think the best part was that we kept missing parts the kids had so we had to go back and reread the story so everyone could have their turn doing their part. It was quite awesome. We even had a donkey!

Singleton Party-
I really enjoyed thie years party with Brian's family. We shook things up and added some new games to our party. It was great. Everyone got involved. Even the little kids. It was a lot of fun. And it rocked even more because my team won all the games!! Go my team!!
Jayanne and Milly did so good carrying water in a spoon to the cup on the other side.

Jayanne's Preschool Program

For Christmas Jayanne's preschool put on a Christmas program. It was super cute. Jayanne had a lot of fun being a part of it. She made the whole audience laugh when she ran off the stage yelling "GRANDMA!!" when she spotted my mom in the middle of the program. Then she made them laugh even harder when she ran to her teacher, jumping up and down holding herself, and asked to use the potty a short while later. She is funny. Thanks to Mom, Allen, Kris, Avery, Jill, Duane, Chris, Tamara and Matthew for coming and supporting her!

She was anything but happy to see Santa.
