Yellowstone- Day 5

So this was leaving day. It was kinda crazy getting everything all packed up and back in the truck. It was an absolutely amazing trip. It was so good to just spend time with Brian's family and to relax and not have a care in the world really. I loved seeing Jayanne's face light up everytime she saw something that was exciting to her and most of the time that was just the water she could see out the truck window as we drove places. I loved spending time with Brian and just being with him without having to worry about his job or anything. It was such a wonderful trip. I was sad I didn't get to see my moose but it was still totally fun. I didn't want to leave. In Jayanne's words, "No home!" Thanks to Brian's family for such a wonderful trip!!

Yellowstone- Day 4

We spent the day in the park again. We all dressed the same since we were getting some family pictures taken. Brett and Casandra have them on their camera so I post those once I get them. We got to see some waterfalls and some pretty awesome animals.

So Jayanne was super excited about seeing a bear. In fact she talked about it in her sleep that night. It was like 4:30 in the morning and she just yelled out "I see a bear!" It was pretty funny because she then went on to crying about needing her juice. It was quite the dream.

Yellowstone- Day 3

We went to the Grizzly Discovery Center in West Yelloswtone on the third day. It was pretty neat. When we got there they were testing out a bear box. We were able to see two bears come to blows over the whole thing. Everytime the bears would start to growl at each other Jayanne would start to get scared and then when they started fighting Jayanne yelled at them to stop hitting. It was pretty funny. The center was pretty neat. They have bears and wolves there right now. They even had a little playground for the kids. They have a program there that you can sign up your kids to actually go in the bear area and hide food for the bears. Micheal and McKenzie were old enough so we were able to back at the end of the day and they were able to go in there and hide for the next set of bears that were coming out. It was pretty cool and they loved it. I don't have pictures of that since we left the camera in the car.

After the Discovery Center we spent the afternoon at Hebgen Lake. We had lunch and just had a day at the lake. The girls played in the lake while some of the boys fished. It was very relaxing. Jayanne had a lot of fun playing in the water and the mud with her cousins.

Yellowstone- Day 2

So we spent the second day in the park. I was so excited. I had been before with my family but I was super excited for this. Jayanne did pretty good spending the whole time in the carseat. We were able to put her in the front of the truck with us so she could see better and she really enjoyed that. After we spent the day in the park we went to Big Springs in Island Park just down the street from our cabin. That was probably one of the prettiest spots I have ever been to. It was absolutely gorgeous. So there will be a lot of pictures since I took a lot.
So this buffalo has personally sent 6 people to the hospital this summer. He was one angry buffalo or bubblefoe according to Jayanne.

She loved using her binoculars.

Jayanne was so excited to hold Milly's hand and walk with her.

YELLOWSTONE- Day 1

So this past week we were able to go to Yellowstone with Brian's family and it was amazing. Since we were there for five days I will break the posts up so its not like one huge post. Anyways so we drove up and got there in time for dinner and then we went to get some ice cream. Duane had been talking about getting ice cream up there since we started planning this trip. We only were able to get it once so I felt bad that he only got the ice cream once during the whole trip but he did get some. It was really good. We stayed in Island Park Mack's Inn. We had a great cabin. Plenty of room for everyone.
