Jayanne went on her first field trip for preschool on Oct. 11. She was so excited because they went to see the fire trucks. She had so much fun. She was able to go into the fire truck, spray the fire hose and learn about the jaws of life. (She was the one that convinced them to get them down so she could see them.) She was even able to go inside the back of the ambulance. It was a lot of fun to see her interact with her preschool friends.

Pumpkins
Jayanne is so excited that Halloween is coming. She is especially excited about the pumpkins she picked out from Grandma and Grandpa Singleton's house. Not only did she pick ones for her but she picked out Jackson's too.
You can see how excited she is about the pumpkins. Jackson looks pretty excited too. |
Grape Juice
So Brian and I decided to can some grape juice this year. Grandma Satterlee has thousands of grapes at her house so we picked a total of five bags and got quite of bit of grape juice. I was pretty excited at how easy it was to do.

Jackson's Blessing Day
So on Sept. 30, 2012 we were able to bless Jackson. (My ward is really weird and has fast Sunday the Sunday before conference instead of the Sunday after.) It was a really beautiful day and we were blessed to have so many family members be there to celebrate with us. Brian gave a wonderful blessing and I am so lucky to have my husband be a worthy priesthood holder. He is such a blessing to our family because of that. Jayanne was a little concerned at first as to where Brian was taking Jackson and then she got mad because he wouldn't give her a blessing like Jackson had. We had lunch at our place after and was just so relaxing to just be together with family. We missed having my sister Sheri and her family there and my Grandma and Grandpa Stephens but we know that they were there in spirit. Thank you to all who came to be there for Jackson on his big day!! And thanks to all those who were willing to help out with the lunch! We have an amazing family!!

A Night Out
So on Labor Day Brian took me and my sister Emily and her husband Jaden to the Gallivan Center for their musicfest. I was way excited to go because Gloriana was performing and I really like them. They only sad thing was that they performed last so we had to leave after like 3 songs so we could pick up the kids since Jayanne started preschool the next day. But it still turned out to be way fun. Love and Theft performed before Gloriana and they put on an amazing show. It was a lot fun to just be Kailynn again and not mom for a night. Thanks Brian for taking me and thanks Em and Jaden for coming!

A Jayanne Update
Now for an update on Jayanne. She absolutely loves being a big sister. She loves to help out and be a part of everything. One of her favorite things to do is throw Jackson's diapers away. Why? I have no idea. She always wants Jackson to be awake so she can just talk to him and hold his hand or what not. She has started preschool which she absolutely loves. If you just call is school you get told that she goes to preschool not school. She gets excited to show Brian and I all the things to she made at preschool and always asks to go back. She is still her cute crazy self!

A Jackson Update
Ok- so here is an update on Jackson. He is almost 3 months which seems crazy to me. He loves to be held. He is starting to make lots of little noises. Every time that he does Jayanne gets all excited because he is trying to talk. Every once in awhile he will sleep through the night but not enough for mom's sanity. He is just so much fun to have and we love him more and more each day!
This is his freaking awesome blanket that his Aunt Julie made him! |
This is usually how he handles tummy time. |
Jayanne loves to hold him. |
Just so stinkin cute! |

4th of July
So I was really kinda sad that I ended up in the hospital over the 4th of July. I love this holiday. I love everything about it. Especially the fireworks. So I was sad that I missed it. But Brian was able to take Jayanne to the family BBQ at Great Grandma Singleton's house. She had a lot of fun. She was able to play with her cousin Milly and watch the huge fireworks. She was so excited to tell me all about it the next day.
Jayanne and Milly used grandpa as a pillow. |

Jackson Brian Singleton
Jackson Brian Singleton was born July 3rd at 1:14 pm. He was 7 lbs and 20 inches long. He is absolutely perfect. We couldn't ask for a better son. Its been such a blessing to have him be a part of our family. Jayanne loves him to pieces, almost to the point where it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Thanks to everyone who has helped out our family in any way. You are all amazing and we love all of you!
